Transportation & Safety

• Students may drive to school with a valid driver’s license, current registration, and proof of insurance. 
• Parking Permit (SR/W): 
• Pick up an application from the office or download it from this page. (Permit form will be posted here.) 
• Provide license, registration, and insurance card (copies accepted). 
• Agree to parking and conduct rules (below) and display the permit as instructed. 

• Park only in student-designated lots/rows. 
• Observe the campus speed limit and all posted signs. 
• No idling, music at high volume, or unsafe maneuvers. 

PHS is not responsible for theft or damage—lock your vehicle and do not leave valuables visible.  Violations may result in citations, revocation of parking privileges, or disciplinary action. 

Conduct Standards (apply to district buses, charters, vans, and public transit used for school activities): 

• Follow driver/chaperone directions immediately. 
• Stay seated; keep aisles clear; use inside voices. 
• Food/drink only if permitted; clean up your area. 
• School rules and dress code apply during travel and at events. 
• Respect others—no harassment, profanity, or unsafe behavior. 

Students with documented needs receive appropriate transportation supports per IEP/504 plans. Contact your case manager or the office for arrangements. 

• Eligibility & Permission 
• Parent/Guardian Permission Form required for each trip. (Download link will appear here.) 
• Students must meet teacher/coach eligibility expectations (attendance, behavior, academics). 
• Medical information/emergency contacts must be current; bring required medications and forms. 

Students are expected to ride with the team/club to and from the event unless a signed release is approved in advance by the coach/advisor and school administrator. 

Follow all directions from staff/chaperones; remain with the group unless granted written permission. 

Represent Paramount HS with courtesy and integrity—follow venue rules and staff instructions. 

Stay in designated areas; clean up; no prohibited items.
