Paramount High School Recognized as a 2026–27 U.S. News Best High School

Paramount High School has earned recognition as a 2026–27 U.S. News Best High School, joining public high schools across the nation recognized for student achievement, graduation and preparation for college.

At PHS, 33% of students take at least one Advanced Placement exam, providing hundreds of students with access to college-level coursework while still in high school. That opportunity is being offered within a comprehensive high school community serving approximately 3,400 students, including nearly 900 seniors.

The recognition reflects the continued work of PHS students, teachers and staff to expand rigorous learning and create pathways that help students prepare for college, career and life. Through academics, career preparation, athletics, activities and student supports, PHS provides students with opportunities to discover their strengths and build toward their goals.

Congratulations to the entire Paramount High School community on earning this national recognition.
