Middle School students are offered various gateway PLTW (Project Lead the Way) courses as they develop skills and discover their areas of interest in science, technology, engineer, and mathematics (STEM).

We currently offer six project Gateway courses district-wide:

  • App Creators
  • Automation and Robotics
  • Computer Science for Innovators Makers
  • Design and Modeling
  • Green Architecture
  • Medical Detectives

The mission of the Femineer program is “To inspire and empower K-12 female students to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in their education and future careers”. Students in the Femineer program engage in project-based learning through highly creative, hands- on activities. With the real-world applications, students acquire both technical and practical skills and knowledge. The hope is for students to continue to pursue in the STEM field in college and career.
